Connect's next baptism Sunday will be May 24, 2026- Pentecost Sunday

Many churches across Canada (and globally) will be baptizing on this date and Connect is participating in "Baptize Canada". It's a fantastic day to participate in what the global church is doing!

Baptism is our identification with Christ's life, death and resurrection. It is a symbolic act that illustrates what Jesus has done in us. The ceremony of baptism is similar to a wedding ceremony: We don't have a wedding in order to fall in love, we have a wedding because we have already fallen in love! The wedding simply makes public and official our love and commitment. So it is with baptism.

Please note that we do not baptize babies or very young children; only those who are able to say they have made the decision to follow Jesus.
